Waterfront Home Sakonnet River Tiverton, RI

When this new waterfront listing appeared on the MLS, like a mutual glance in a crowded room, it was love at first sight.  The unique style, intriguing picturesque location with finely manicured grounds, and spectacular ocean views lured me in like a description from a story book of a fantasy which suddenly came true.

Bursting with excitement upon discovering this home was included on the Broker Tour I anxiously anticipated my first view.   Floating over the threshold of the inviting front door, welcomed like a hug from along lost friend, it was more than I imaged it to be not knowing the best was yet to come.

Proudly boasting a private beach I headed outside.  Strolling through yard to the waterfront camera images flashed in my head of sounds from delighted children playing and gatherings with family and friends.  Standing on the shore I thought to myself this is truly coastal living at it's best.

Buyers that share a passion for waterfront homes can contact me at 401-369-1766 or goingcoastalri@gmail.com .  Wonderful homes in wonderful Rhode Island coastal communities are available at prices that haven't been offered in years.

Going Coastal Rhode Island

Featured Community
Common Fence Point Portsmouth, RI

Somewhat like the weather I am a little behind on letting you know about all the opportunities for coastal living Rhode Island has to offer.  We have some pretty great coastal communities in Rhode Island as well as in Massachusetts but for now lets look at Common Fence Point in Portsmouth, RI and why I choose this as a featured community.

Common Fence Point is located between the Sakonnet River and Mount Hope Bay almost completely surround by water with many offerings for it's residents.  At the community hall you can find the Common Fence Point Improvement Association, concerts and workshops offer by Common Fence Music.  There are playgrounds, ball fields, picnic areas, a marina - Brewer Sakonnet Marina, and golfing minutes from your door at Montaup Country Club.

If you're looking for a waterfront home or one that is never far away take a look at Common Fence Point.  For a list or to look at available homes in this coastal community call me at 401-369-1766 or e-mail goingcoastalri@gmail.com .  Where next? Island Park? Nanaquaket Pond? Seapowet?

Spring is blooming in Rhode Island. The winter hibernation is over. Soon summer will be here and there is no doubt that we will be drawn to the water.

This waterfront oasis is blossoming. I invite you to experience the beauty yourself. Nibble on some food, enjoy spectacular water views, spend time in the garden by the streams and pond. Relax a while and enjoy life the way it should be.

Unable to attend but would love to see this home? Call Lisa @ 401-369-1766 or e-mail lgtiv@aol.com to arrange a showing.

Sure Signs that Spring is in the Air in Rhode Island

There are definite signs that spring is in the air in Rhode Island. Here are few of mine.

Evelyn's Nanaquaket Drive In Restaurant, Tiverton, RI opens. I drive by Evelyn's every day. I get so excited when I see them preparing for opening. First they start paying attention to clam shell parking lot. Bringing in a fresh layer and spreading just so. Then you see the trucks starting their deliveries. Definite sign spring is here. You might want to join their facebook page in case you can't visit.

Next everywhere I go I see these plates. Welcome back.

People are coming out of their houses. Walking up and down Main Rd. along the water front.

These next things crack me up. First day above 60 degrees people are sporting the shorts, sandals, and tank tops and if you happen to own a convertible car you can be sure the top is down. Not me I love when I get in my car and my brain is telling me to open the windows but my hand just won't listen. Love that heat.

I am also a food network nut at times. So while looking at videos about Tiverton, RI I came across this one. I remember when this "Guy" was competing on "The Next Food Network Star". Don't know how I missed this episode of "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives". This is home, no really, this is the pond I live on. What a hoot! So I leave you drooling and anticipating the opening of Evelyn's. Opens this weekend.

So what signs tell you Spring and Summer are just around the corner?
